  You play as Captain Ashley Novak, a Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful mecha suit. Travel through a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a remote planet on the outskirts of the Milky Way, to build a base that will allow you to return to Earth and begin colonizing it. Ashley's mecha suit, nicknamed "Mr. Riggs," can withstand the harshest environments and is equipped with all the tools you need to build a base, mine resources, collect samples, and of course, fight. It is designed to travel through wormholes that connect distant points in space.

• Your task is to build a two-way wormhole to return to Earth. This is a very complex invention that requires a huge amount of energy. Simple solar batteries and a couple of tons of steel will not do. To cope with this task, you will have to build a complex chain of mines, oil wells, power plants and research facilities.
• Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. When you begin to develop infrastructure and disrupt the natural order of things, the world will see you as a threat. Prepare to defend yourself. Build walls, barriers, and defensive towers, because the attacks are becoming more powerful every day. You will face thousands of hostile creatures who will try to get rid of you.
• Galatea-37 is an uncharted planet in the Sycorax Belt of the Milky Way Galaxy. Remote observations have shown that it is uninhabited and ideal for colonization. The planet is rich in rare minerals and elements, deposits of which are scattered across its surface. Various biomes will surprise you with unknown fauna and flora, as well as harsh weather conditions. You will be able to build outposts in locations with natural resources and transport them using wormhole technology.
• Embark on an epic adventure across the biomes of Galatea 37. Build bases around the planet and mine resources. Study alien matter and life forms. Fight off attacks from alien creatures who are clearly not happy about you invading their territory. In this multi-hour campaign with incredible freedom of action and a randomly generated world, you set your own priorities and decide which technologies to use. After all, you are the only person on this planet.
• Your mission is to survive for a certain amount of time while fending off increasingly deadly waves of alien creatures. Each mission is randomly generated, making this mode incredibly replayable.
• If the intense struggle for survival isn't your thing, try the Sandbox mode, which lets you customize every detail of the game, including resources, enemy generation, and weather conditions.
• The Riftbreaker gameplay can be customized to suit your preferences. Change the frequency of enemy attacks, the strength and number of enemies, resource generation, natural disasters, enemy damage, and much more. In addition, the game has several difficulty levels, so everyone - from strategy veterans to lovers of leisurely base development - will find a mode to their taste.
