   Twenty years after the award-winning action adventure Outcast established the non-linear open-world genre, Cutter Slade returns to the wondrous world of Adelpha. Resurrected by the all-powerful Yodas, he discovers that the Thalans have been enslaved, the planet's natural resources have been plundered, and his own past is somehow connected to the invasion of robot invaders. It looks like he'll have to save the planet all over again. 
   The team behind the first Outcast has reunited to create this exciting world full of dangers and inhabited by the Thalans - intelligent beings with an ancient culture whose destinies have become intertwined with those of Earth since the events of the first game. Your hero, former Navy SEAL Cutter Slade, has lost none of his dry humor, but the world around him has changed - and that means he'll have to change too.
   To save Adelpha, you'll have to...

• combine dozens of different modules to create a weapon to suit your hand and deal with the robot invaders

• explore the vast world, stumble upon lost temples, fight dangerous animals
  
• get to know the Talan culture better, helping local residents to liberate their villages from invaders and put the ancient achievements of the Talan civilization to their service, capable of wiping the enemy off the face of Adelfa with the power of nature itself
