   Nine Sols is a hand-drawn 2D action platformer with dodge-focused combat in the style of Sekiro. Embark on a journey through an oriental fantasy, explore a world once inhabited by an ancient alien race, and follow a hero on a quest for vengeance to destroy the 9 Sols, the fearsome rulers of this forgotten realm.    In New Kunlun, the hero Yi has awakened the 9 rulers of this forgotten realm. To defeat the 9 Sols in a deserted city.    "Becoming one with the way of the Tao..."    New Kunlun, the last sanctuary of the Solarians, has remained silent for centuries. In this vast realm, the ancient gods left a promised land for mortals to guard forever with sacred rituals, but the truth of this world remains unknown to most. Everything changes when Yi, a long-forgotten hero of the past, awakens as a human child.    Follow Yi on his vengeful quest against the 9 Sols, the fearsome rulers of this forgotten realm, and destroy any obstacles in your way in Sekiro-lite style combat. Explore the unique Taopank setting, which combines cyberpunk elements with Taoism and Far Eastern mythology. Unravel the mysteries of an ancient alien race and learn about the fate of humanity.

• 2D action in the style of Sekiro: Slash, deflect, attack and explode your enemies with the Taoist Talisman! Each fight combines fast, brutal action with classic platforming mechanics.
  
• Intriguing Boss Fight: Prepare to face off against evil ancient guardians and terrifying creatures. Be patient and use every trick in your arsenal, combining them with the divine bow Yi, to defeat these life-sized figures.
  
• Taopunk Setting: When cyberpunk collided with Taoism, mixing sci-fi elements with Eastern mythology/fantasy, the experimental genre of taopunk was born.
• Exploration: Travel across the interconnected regions of New Kunlun. Uncover secrets, piece together the story of Yi's revenge.
  
• Help from the inhabitants: Meet interesting NPCs of this world and interact with them to receive upgrades, gain new abilities and discover useful technologies.
  
• Hand-drawn environments/animations and manga: Nine Sols is filled with meticulously hand-drawn anime-style environments, hand-drawn sprite-based animations, and Japanese manga-style scenes.
